In a nutshell – Vivid has provided the Bridges with a variety of services. From brand ambassadors, data capture and game show presenters to the commissioning of large scale props and engaging games.

The Bridges is based in Sunderland city centre. With a busy mall, they are the third largest shopping centre in the north east with all the top high street names and a steady footfall. On special occasions such as Valentine’s Day or Fathers Day, the Bridges love to say a big ‘thank you’ to their shoppers by running various mini experiential and promotional events.

Over the past few years the mall has played host to a giant skalextric, a jumbo version of ‘Buzz Off’, the Wheel of Fortune and a superb Mr and Mrs style game show. Each were manned by a team of experienced brand ambassadors who would guarantee shoppers at the Bridges were having an amazing time – whilst ensuring the activity is running smoothly and H&S requirements were closely adhered to. For a more holistic and relaxing option, free hand and shoulder massages were on offer for weary Mums this Mothers Day, while the kids were kept entertained in a craft area nearby.

One of the most memorable activities took place over the course of Sunderland’s International Airshow. Staff dressed as World War 2 pilots and challenged shoppers to a foam model aeroplane ‘Spitfire’ throwing competition, whilst above their head hung a lifesized version of the same model aeroplane!

In return, the events provide the Bridges with the opportunity to engage with their shoppers, encourage sign-ups to their newsletter and create fabulous content for their social media. Vivid will also provide a staff feedback report, complete with future recommendations and photos after each event.
